Theoretical training<\/h4>\n\n<p>Acquisition of the fundamentals: navigation, regulations (COLREG), weather, tides, maritime English and watchkeeping. This course prepares you progressively for the training courses and certification exams held at an approved center, in line with international STCW standards. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Officer Of Watch (OOW) 200 module &#8211; Practical preparation<\/h4>\n\n<p>Training for operational situations: voyage plan, maneuvers (MOB, anchoring, docking), conduct and organization of watch.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Master 200 module<\/h4>\n\n<p>Advanced command skills: stability, ship management, onboard documentation, towing and salvage.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>Intensive course (optional)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>An intensive 4-day course is offered several times a year in Toulon or on the coast between Nice and Marseille. It is devoted to targeted theoretical revision and consolidation of knowledge in preparation for exams. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong><em>This course can be supplemented by an assessment at sea, carried out on a vessel similar to the one used for the exams. They sit the exam once their level has been validated by The Yachter. <\/p>\n\n<p>During the course, you will be asked to take part in an at-sea proficiency test. In the e-learning program, <strong>a module is dedicated to practice, with videos.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\"
