Pleasure boating is an activity that combines freedom, exploration and relaxation, but it also entails its share of risks. To guarantee a safe experience at sea, it can be useful to have a comprehensive safety checklist at your disposal. This is where SAFETICS<\/strong> comes in: the first safety checklist<\/a> specially designed for pleasure boating. <\/p>\n\n

What is SAFETICS?<\/h2>\n\n

SAFETICS is the first navigation guide to be written in checklist format. This comprehensive, easy-to-use guide aims to simplify and standardize safety procedures for boaters of all levels. Developed by marine safety experts and experienced sailors, the checklist covers all the essential aspects for safe sailing.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Safetics is approved by industry professionals, and recommended by CROSS (<\/strong> Centres R\u00e9gionaux Op\u00e9rationnels de Surveillance et de Sauvetage).<\/p>\n\n

In June 2019, the new Division 240 also confirmed that the Safetics\u00ae guide can replace, from a regulatory point of view, the publications traditionally considered mandatory in coastal navigation thanks to the quality of its contents. <\/p>\n\n

Why a safety checklist?<\/h2>\n\n

The sea is an unpredictable and potentially dangerous environment: even for experienced sailors, it’s easy to overlook important safety points. SAFETICS helps you to minimize the risks by providing an instruction manual on land, at sea, to avoid emergencies and, if necessary, to help you in the event of distress at sea. With advice, actions and checklists, thesecomprehensive, practical sheets are the ideal way for captains to ensure safety on board.<\/strong> <\/p>\n
