France 3 management wants to “dust off” its programs and turn Thalassa into a monthly program.<\/p>\n

Out with the old folks?<\/h2>\n

Not only that, it’s not Georges Pernoud who’s being targeted this time, but the show itself, which is slowly disappearing into the cathodic morass of a monthly program, then gradually being phased out to be replaced by more “modern” and more “ass-cultish” broadcasts.<\/p>\n

If Patrick S\u00e9bastien’s show goes off the air, I don’t give a damn; the same goes for Michel Drucker, who certainly does his job well, but we’ve done just fine without Guy Lux and L\u00e9on Zitone.<\/p>\n

Suppressing Thalassa is more serious than Georges Pernoud’s endearing personality.<\/p>\n

It’s one of the few links that the French, a people of landowners and farmers, have with the sea.<\/p>\n

It’s the rare moment when he can realize the importance of the water and salt that surround us, and the strategy of the oceans.<\/p>\n

Taking an interest in young people<\/h2>\n

Mr. M\u00e9lanchon has been a visionary (on this subject) by proposing a new French-style frontier and offering young people a space for adventure and conquest, but above all for economic development with unhoped-for promises for our old country.<\/p>\n

Has his idea been taken up by any other politician?<\/p>\n

Putting Thalassa on the back burner means Berlusconizing our channels once again. Thalassa only attracts two million viewers, while the Saint Glinglin \/ Psg soccer match attracts many more! That’s right; the stakes aren’t the same. <\/p>\n

Georges Pernoud has been at the helm for 40 years, and that’s quite a feat. We have to respect the man and his work, and it’s up to him to hand over the reins, smoothly, and not fired with any formality.<\/p>\n
