So Max sea and Scannav are still neck and neck
As with MaxSea, should we opt for the new version? Yes and no: no, because it’s not essential; yes, because it’s much less expensive than Max Sea’s, so it’s still an affordable pleasure; and yes, because it supports the activities of a friendly company that listens to its customers.
Scannav is compatible with Primar charts, which is a very positive point. Let’s hope for a new version with Maxsea branding and Ecdis-like functionality, such as MaxSea’s safety cone and safe routing.

What’s more, Scannav is fully compatible with our Guides des Ports et Mouillages and our surveys of Avurnas and Arrêtés préfectoraux, which we’re delighted about.
