The Salon International du Multicoque de La Grande Motte is a major event for yachting enthusiasts and professionals alike. Since its inception, the show has attracted thousands of visitors and numerous exhibitors from all over the world. This unique show, dedicated to sailing and motor catamarans and trimarans, is a must in the nautical sector.

A history of innovation

Since its first edition in 2010, the Salon International du Multicoque has rapidly established itself as the global meeting place for multihull boat enthusiasts and professionals. Each edition highlights new products, technical innovations, new models and environmentally-friendly concepts.

In 2019, the show saw the introduction of the Lagoon 46 and other innovative models of note to the industry. The 2022 edition made its mark with the presentation of hybrid and electric multihulls, reinforcing ecological solutions in boating.

The 2024 edition of the Salon du Multicoque was a success, with 19% more visitors than in previous years. This renewed interest illustrates not only the public’s growing attraction to multihulls, but also the upmarket nature of the range presented. Numerous sales were concluded during the event, confirming its central role as a marketplace for professionals and private customers.

This year’s show also saw a significant increase in participation from specifiers, marking a turning point for the event as a showcase for innovative, desirable and environmentally-friendly products and solutions.

Building on this success, the Salon International du Multicoque will return in 2025 with a promising new edition. The event will take place from April 23 to 27, 2025, once again over five 100% multihull days. This year’s event will showcase technological and ecological innovations, with a host of international exhibitors.

This year, the Catana 471 from the Catana/BaliCatamarans shipyard stood out, winning the title of “most seaworthy” boat in the Capt’n Boat category, with over 40% of the votes cast by Capt’n Boat skippers.
